About This Dog for Adoption

Bracken's ideal home

Meet the handsome Bracken! This boy is searching for his forever home alongside his best friend Fenn, who he has always lived with and is very bonded with. They are able to share their home with older primary school aged children and could also be homed with a resident dog or cat. Bracken & Fenn have come into our care due to the sad passing of their owner. They are largely housetrained but due to the change of routine they may need a short refresher of their housetraining as they settle in. They travel well in the car, and still love their walkies despite their age! This gorgeous pair will make a fun and loving addition to their new home.

Could you be Bracken's perfect match?

Bracken is a 9 year old Springer Spaniel who would definitely be a contender for the world's happiest dog! His tail is always wagging and he is usually found with a tennis ball in his mouth ready to play! Bracken is also a water baby and loves splashing in our paddling pools. He loves sharing his walks with his best friend Fenn, but they both prefer to sleep in separate cosy beds to get the best naps in!

Springer Spaniel Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Springer Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Springer Spaniel Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
