Hannah's ideal home

Hannah is a super intelligent and energetic girl searching for her forever family. She would love to keep active and go out on long adventurous walks and have a family who can keep her brain active and engaged. She could get stuck into agility or scent games as this is something we think she will really enjoy. Ideally Hannah would like a family who have experience with spaniels and/or working breeds. She can show some appeasing behaviours when first meeting people and therefore will need people who can take this at her own pace and understand her body language. She could live with older primary school aged children who can understand her worries. Hannah can also live with a well matched dog (if male must be neutered),small furries and livestock if kept separated. She would like a garden to enjoy, although this could be either private or communal.

Hannah is a sweet and bouncy girl who loves spending time finding her favourite sniffs and spending lots of quality time with her favourite people. Once you have built a bond with Hannah, she loves to shower you with cuddles and will be glued to your side in typical Spaniel fashion. Hannah will sometimes chase after a ball when thrown but other than this hasn’t shown much interest in toys. She really enjoys her food and loves to get stuck into enrichment activities and games involving her food. Hannah is a wonderful girl who is sure to bring lots of love to her forever family.

Springer Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Springer Spaniel.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
