Aston
3 weeksDescription
Aston's ideal home
Aston is the mostly lovely boy with a real zest for life! He's looking for a patient and understanding home who are up for a new training challenge as Aston is deaf. This means he's learning to understand hand signals instead of verbal commands and he's picking this up well. He's a friendly and happy boy and could live with children 6+. He LOVES to play and his whole world revolves around toys, toys and more TOYS! Aston has been super friendly and made lots of doggy friends here, so he could share his new home with another dog following a meeting here at the centre. We have very little previous history for Aston so he will need help with all his basic training including housetraining, lead work and learning how to be left home alone which we recommend is built up gradually leaving him with things to keep him busy.
Could you be Aston's perfect match?
Aston is a typical spaniel who loves to be on the go, wiggling as he zooms! He would love to find an active home that can help him to fulfil both his mental and physical needs to keep him happy. New owners should be willing to do some research on training and living with deaf dogs and the challenges that can come with this. Aston doesn't let his lack of hearing slow him down and he's always ready for the next adventure.
