Lilly is a lovely 7 year old Springer Spaniel who has come to us through no fault of her own and is ready to start again in a new home. Lilly can be a little timid initially when meeting new people but soon warms up and is your best buddy- especially if you have some tasty treats! As she can be a bit timid, she would be more suited for a home with any children being 14+ just so it is a little more calm for her. She loves people more than anything and loves to cuddle but being a Spaniel, she will also need to get her walks and sniffs in, keeping her brain engaged and enriched!

Lilly could live with another dog in her new home, she is happy to be around them with no issues but is generally not very interested in them, people are more her thing! For this reason, if she was to live with another dog, they would need to match her energy and not try to bother her too much! Lilly is a wonderful girl and it's hard to not fall inlove with her!

Springer Spaniel Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Springer Spaniel.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
