Baxter is an adorable 3-year-old Springer Spaniel looking for his forever family.
This sweet boy is currently thriving in his foster home, where he’s enjoying all the comforts of home life. Baxter is friendly and affectionate, though he can sometimes feel a little unsure in new situations. With patience and gentle reassurance, he soon comes around, wiggling his way over for fuss and cuddles.
Baxter would love a home with children aged 10+ who can understand and respect his worries. He enjoys his walks and happily strolls with doggy friends, but when it comes to home life, he’d prefer to be the only dog so he can have all the attention to himself. He has met cats out on his walks and doesn't pay them much interest so we think he could live with a dog-savvy cat in his new home. Baxter is mostly housetrained, and he’s also content spending a few hours home alone.
