Bilbo's ideal home
Bilbo is a a sensitive boy who would love to find a a quiet home. As he is very nervous at the moment Bilbo is looking for an adult-only home. Bilbo has the potential to live with other dogs. He especially gets on with dogs that are calmer, and gets worried by boisterous dogs. Possible matches would be subject to a mix in centre prior to rehoming. As he's such a worried boy he will need a secure garden of his own as he might not want to go out for walks at first.

Bilbo is a 2yr old Springer Spaniel who came into our care after being found as a stray. As such he’s a very worried boy who is scared of most things at the moment. A kind and patient family who will give him time and space will be essential. Not much is known about Bilbo’s likes and dislikes yet, but he does like mixing with calmer doggy friends, and meaty treats are usually accepted! Bilbo settles in his kennel and we think he’ll be ok being left for a couple of hours, though this should be built up once settled. Car travel will need a bit of work as he’s doesn’t want to get in at the moment. Housetraining is nearly there though! He really tries to keep his kennel clean and it shouldn’t take him long to perfect this when he has a garden of his own. Bilbo is getting braver with us already, he’ll just need a family that understand that he won’t show his true Spaniel personality right away.
