Frankie's ideal home

Meet Frankie, he's a whirlwind of Spaniel fun and energy! He's still a youngster at just over a year old so he is looking for an active home that could find him a job to do. Frankie has been in a home before where he was housetrained and has been crate trained. He has been left for a few hours, however we recommend this is gradually built back up again once he's settled into his forever home. Frankie shows a lot of drive and loves learning new things, sniffing out mischief and getting into all kinds of spaniel fun! Frankie's perfect home would be one that would love to take part in something such as man trailing or scent work and we know he has so much potential to be a fantastic adventure buddy. He has been know to steal items in the house and struggles to settle if there is lots going on so it's essential Frankie's forever family has a keen interest in training. Frankie has been very friendly with people here and we think he could live with children 8+ who are confident and happy around lively and bouncy dogs. He also enjoys socialising with his doggy friends and we think he could live with another dog following a meeting here at the centre. Frankie has been around cats before, but can be very over the top and excited around them. He could live with a dog savvy cat in his new home, but they will need to be gradually introduced.

Frankie does have some ongoing medical needs that our adoption team will be happy to discuss with potential adopters. These may effect his exercise levels in the future so his new family will need to get creative with keeping his clever mind occupied!
