About This Dog

Dobby's ideal home

Dobby is a 3-year-old Whippet cross Springer Spaniel who is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy plenty of adventures and affection. Dobby ideally needs to share his home with another dog and would benefit from having some social doggy friends. He needs a home without cats or small furries, and we have no history of him around livestock. Dobby could live with secondary school-aged children and would be happy in a reasonably busy household. He is housetrained, travels well in the car and can be left for up to four hours. Dobby can pull on the lead, so his new family will need to be happy to continue working with him on this.

Dobby is instantly friendly with people and is a super affectionate boy who absolutely loves a fuss! He has a good history of being around children and previously living with another dog, making him a lovely companion for the right home. He is the most gentle and loving boy and would happily cuddle up with you all day if he had the chance! Dobby loves his treats, and he's not particularly fussy about which ones he gets! However, he is especially fond of a dog-friendly carrot and apple ice lolly. He also loves his toys, particularly balls and rope toys, and enjoys a good tummy rub. Dobby already knows how to sit and is always ready for some fun and affection. When it comes to adventures, Dobby loves running around the garden and enjoys exploring on walks, particularly at dog parks and beaches. His Spaniel side definitely comes out when he catches an interesting scent, as he loves to follow his nose and explore the world around him! Because of this, Dobby will need some continued work on his recall. Dobby is a wonderfully affectionate, gentle and fun-loving boy who is ready to find his forever family.
