If you want a new best friend, Whistle is your boy! A 4 year old Spaniel, Whistle is a super cuddly, friendly boy and always up for joining you on your next adventure. In the home, he’ll be your little shadow, happy to follow you everywhere and constantly seeking contact - whether this is jumping up for a hug or curling up on the sofa beside you. However, adopters should be prepared to give him a little bit of time to settle in, providing him with space to be comfortable. Whistle loves sniffing and exploring with his nose, and with that special person, he would likely excel at scent work or gundog training.
Could you be Whistle's perfect match?
Whistle would be content living in a variety of locations as he’s not fussed by traffic or busy roads and much more interested in enjoying a nice sniff! As he’s a very friendly boy, he’d enjoy getting out and enjoying walks with some doggy friends and he’d be happy sharing his home with lower secondary children, as he’s a really sweet boy but can be a little nervous. Whistle would be best suited to active adopters who can provide him with a variety of exercise and stimulation. His adopters should be able to build up any leaving time, especially as he settles into the home, and Whistle will need someone willing to provide him with patience as he learns about the world and grows in confidence.
