About This Dog for Adoption

Polo's ideal home

Meet gorgeous boy, Polo! Polo is a 7-year old Springer Spaniel looking for his forever home. Polo is able to live with another dog in the home, but he isn't very interested in them so it would have to be a calm, polite resident dog. Any children in the home would need to be 8yrs+ as he can be a little timid initially.
Polo is a typical Spaniel that loves to be on the go and kept busy! His absolute favourite thing in the world is his tennis ball, and once you've thrown it for him, you have a friend for life. He's a very clever boy who loves to use his brain, so he would love a home that's willing to keep him both mentally and physically stimulated. He is an active lad, and would love a lot of space to run around and explore.
Polo can show appeasement behaviours when meeting new people and being clipped up for walks - he does tend to have a worried wee! He does love making friends, though, and enjoys his walks and playtime.
Polo will be the most fun & exciting adventure companion, ideal for the families that want to get out for hikes and explorations in the countryside! He will be your best friend for as long as you have a ball to offer him!

Could you be Polo's perfect match?

Polo is a gorgeous, sweet older man who still has BAGS of energy. He is looking for an active, high energy home that can keep him entertained physically and mentally. He loves difficult enrichment and using his brain, and play times with his people. He is very polite with other dogs but mainly ignores, so could live with or without another dog in the home.
Polo has longer hair, and has since had his matted ears trimmed so he is looking a lot smarter! He will need owners willing to keep up with his grooming.
Polo can be left for 4-6 hours with a break once this time has been built up. He is also house-trained, however, he is known to have a few worried wees if over-handled!
On lead, Polo is a typical spaniel and will pull towards exciting smells and sights. Polo would definitely be one for the spaniel lovers, and we can't wait to see him happy in his forever home!
