About This Dog for Adoption

Fudge's ideal home

Fudge gets along well with other calm dogs and can live with children over the age of eight. She is house trained but has an odd accident on occasion and can be left alone for a couple of hours. Fudge has recently had most of her teeth removed and will need a second dental at the vets in the new year to sort out the rest of her mouth. She was very underweight on arrival but now that she is on a more suitable diet for her teeth she should continue to improve and gain weight nicely.

Could you be Fudge's perfect match?

Age ain't nothin' but a number for this girl! Fudge, affectionately known as Madge, is almost 14 years old but still has oodles of energy and is very active. She loves to go for walks where she can stick her head in the undergrowth and sniff out rabbits and she travels brilliantly in the car. She is currently being fostered by a staff member and is an absolute joy to have around. She is silly and loving and likes to watch you in the kitchen in case anything should be dropped on the floor! Fudge is a toast monster who can sniff out a piece from 100 yards away and although she has cataracts, she will absolutely not miss if a piece is tossed her way! She is very calm at home and is sharing with another dog at present without any issues. Fudge does lack spatial awareness when she's rolling around on her back in the living room, her favourite thing, and has sent coffee cups and elderly Staffies flying! She's just a dream to be with and will happily snuggle up on the sofa and fall asleep whilst you stroke her lovely ears. She is house trained but her signs of needing to go out can be quite subtle and easily missed at first. She is let out lots and always just before bed and right after she wakes up.
