About This Dog

Rudy's ideal home

Rudy is looking for a home with his brother Remi. They have always lived outside and may not be house trained, but are clean in their kennel. They can live with children around the age of 10 and other dogs.

Could you be Rudy's perfect match?

Rudy is rather a worried young man but still a little more confident than brother Remi. They are always happy to see their carers and are settling into centre life. Rudy likes to be busy, his tail is always up and his nose always down on his walks! He takes everything in, often zig-zagging in front of his handler so that he doesn't miss a thing. He and Remi have lived outside as they were a little too lively for an older dog in the home, so they may be wary of some new environments. their adopters should be sure not to push them in new situations but rather to give them time and space to explore and investigate. They like a slow approach from people and are more likely to build their confidence more quickly this way. Rudy likes to meet other dogs cautiously, but he doesn't show any aggression. He does better with ones that aren't too bothered about interacting with him, but off lead he prefers to play with toys than run around with friends. Some friendly but calm walking companions would do both boys good.
