Do you want a dog that you can form a really close bond with? Then take a look at Cassie, a gorgeous Spaniel cross who is 9 years young! She is a lovely girl who wants nothing more than a peaceful retirement away from busy roads and other dogs. Cassie finds children a little bit worrying but should have no problems living with teenagers. She is an absolute sweetheart and forms close bonds with people but she would like a safe space to use when visitors came round. Cassie needs to be the only pet in the home but she is perfectly fine when out and about as long as other dogs don’t come right up to her. Cassie does have some medical needs which require ongoing medication. This will be discussed in full with any successful applicants.

Cassie is a sweet but sensitive 9 year old Spaniel cross and has formed close bonds with her handlers here at the centre. She appreciates a hands off approach at first but will soon be asking for fuss and attention once she has that connection with you. Cassie is equally happy to settle in the company of her humans and settles really well in the paddock with one of her carers doing paperwork next to her. Cassie does struggle being left alone so could be an ideal dog for someone who is either working from home or retired, is looking for that loving companionship, and is able to stay with her throughout the day. She also finds car travel stressful but with access to everything she needs from the doorstep she'll be a happy lady.
